We’re proud to keep our community ethos at the forefront of everything we do and are excited for our next community-focused venture to get underway!

Staff from a variety of departments have volunteered to mentor students in a series of interactive sessions, to inspire and educate students about life after school.

Each session will be designed by the mentors, to give students hands-on experience in an operating business and enlighten them in the multitude of career opportunities that await them after education.

The interactive sessions aim to build students’ confidence in both school life and future careers by teaching problem-solving, soft skills and how to set and reach personal goals. Knowledgeable professionals providing guidance in scenarios students will highly likely come across throughout their careers, is something the current curriculum isn’t yet able to provide. Therefore TrueSpeed is thrilled to provide this opportunity that will benefit students for years to come.

After completing the six mentoring sessions, students will receive certificates for their achievements and will be invited to provide feedback to ensure the continued growth and success of the West of England Mentoring Scheme.
