Building in overlooked areas

We are usually the first full-fibre provider in the communities we serve. Our mission is to build in areas that need us most; areas that currently have relatively poor broadband connectivity.

As we’re building our network from scratch, we plan our build with care, looking to minimise disruption wherever possible and ensuring we secure all the necessary permission we need well in advance.

However, as with any building project, there are always unforeseen issues. And some of these, despite our best efforts, cannot be overcome. Which is why there are some areas, streets or even individual properties we sadly cannot reach.

Where we do build, we look to use existing physical infrastructure – such as telephone poles and underground ducts – to distribute our new cabling and avoid unnecessary disruption. But, where we do have to close a road or cause any inconvenience we do so only for the shortest time possible and always in agreement with local authorities

As a local business, based in Bath, our workforce is made up of people who live in (and love) the area, which helps when it comes to ensuring we approach the communities we serve with respect and consideration.

All of our works are listed on one.network but if you do have any questions or concerns about any part of our build, please give us a call on 01275 300370.
